This month's #TBT presented by PODS is Cal Poly Men's Basketball alumnus David Nwaba! David is the first Cal Poly player to sign a contract with an NBA franchise (currently with the Chicago Bulls). Nwaba helped Cal Poly to first Big West Conference Tournament title and first NCAA Division I Tournament appearance in 2014. In just three seasons as a Mustang (2013-16) he finished eighth all-time in blocks (49), ninth in steals (97) and 15th in rebounds (465). #RideHigh

Cal Poly Men's Basketball alumni David Nwaba is having a great start to his year with the Chicago Bulls. In the month of December he is averaging 10.2 pts, 5 rebs, and 1 blk per game, on 62% shooting! "I'm just glad to be a part of the team and get the playing time I've been getting," Nwaba said Saturday night after scoring 15 points against the Knicks, 11 in the fourth quarter. "I just want to continue to work and do my best and not let anybody down and just go out there and play hard." The Bulls are 5-9 with Nwaba playing and 1-11 without him. Great Job David! #RideHigh Read more from an article here 👉
